We had a lovely morning at Newcastle Library today. This was our second visit and we look forward to our third and final session next week. Valerie, the librarian, was telling us all about fiction (story books) and non-fiction (information books). She also showed us how to find information books using a number system. We also heard some wonderful poetry including ‘The Dentist and The Crocodile’ by Roald Dahl. Many of us were issued with new library cards and were able to take books out on loan. Overall, an enjoyable and educational experience had by all.
