Congratulations to our Primary 3s who have made their First Confession

On Wednesday 28th February 2018 our Primary 3 children made their First Confession in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Newcastle.  We did not let the snow blizzards in Burrenreagh deter us.  We enjoyed a beautiful ceremony in the church with Fr Colin and Fr Jim chatting all about the Sacrament of Reconciliation as a celebration of the love and forgiveness of God.  In the lead up to the sacrament we were working hard in learning all our prayers and songs. We also enjoyed a school visit from Fr Colin and Brenda who gave us yummy 'sheep' cupcakes to enjoy.  We are very proud of our Primary 3 children.  Congratulations!
