3D Shape in Primary 4/5
Our P4/5 pupils have been exploring the topic of 3D shape and they can sort and name; recognise and describe. The pupils know the properties of 3D shapes - faces, edges and vertices.
Today our P4/5 class took their learning outside and had their Mental Maths and Numeracy session in the sunshine – if only every day we could have an outdoor classroom, wouldn’t that be great!
The pupils loved playing the game of 'Guess my Shape' in which one person hides the shape whilst describing its properties. The others then guessed the shape described.
Caoimhe created her very own cuboid and cylinder shapes at home – check them out!
Our pupils loved exploring 'Our Feely Box' and it was amazing to see the many 3D shapes that they could find all around us at school and at home.
